Perfect box for cockatiels except...
I have looked far and wide for this style of breeding box. It is perfect (for me), and the price is great, but why is there a label glued on the front of the box?
I have looked far and wide for this style of breeding box. It is perfect (for me), and the price is great, but why is there a label glued on the front of the box? If the birds chews on that, they can swallow small pieces of the paper and get a crop impaction, which is fatal without surgery. The glue and plastic sheeting over the label are both toxic to birds. It never ceases to amaze me how bird companies keep making bird products that are dangerous and can be fatal. There is no reason you cannot put a loose label inside the box so we can just take it out and throw it away. Please, for the love of birds, stop labeling the box.

This purchase was a disappointment. The diameter of the hole does not allow an adult cockatiel to fit through. The hooks on the box were not installed for easy cage

The build is VERY flimsy and pieces had broken off on arrival. We rebuilt this product to make it useable but I don’t think many customers have that option.
No indent
Chewy refunded my money because there was no indent. I reached out to A&E who produced the box. They claimed that's what the Styrofoam piece is for and you cover

Sturdy, nice design overall
I ordered this box for my English budgies because the stsndard parakeet nestbox and even the lovebird nestbox are too small. But this box is a lot bigger than

But this box is a lot bigger than I expected and it wont work for English budgies . Too bad because the design is great ! The entry hole is perfect size for English budgies but prob way too small for cockatiels . Im sad that theres not a somewhat smaller version of this design- in between this snd the parakeeet version .
Came broken
The lid came broken, and I had to improvise before I could even put it in the birds cage. The indent to keep the eggs from rolling is nothing more than a flat *texture

Love this box but you should plan on drilling the entrance hole a little bit bigger. Otherwise I would give it a five star.

Opening too small
Opening is far too small for even my smallest cockatiel to fit. The other review is correct that the hole is approximately the size for a budgie.
