Good quality, easy to assemble
Sturdy, made with precision, easy to assemble (I did it by myself). I recommend using your own screwdriver, you’ll need the common bit shapes. A little on the heavy
Sturdy, made with precision, easy to assemble (I did it by myself). I recommend using your own screwdriver, you’ll need the common bit shapes. A little on the heavy side, but it’s only an issue for assembly, once it’s on rollers there’s no issue. I will say though that the food and water bowls are difficult to change out, they are so tight. Other than that my hahns macaw loves it.

I bought two Medium Dometop cages last year for my Blueheaded and White-capped Pionus's. One of the cages was missing welding on on side. Chewy has rectified this
I bought two Medium Dometop cages last year for my Blueheaded and White-capped Pionus's. One of the cages was missing welding on on side. Chewy has rectified this. I find the main door too narrow to be able to clean the inside of the cage really well. The other thing I dislike is the cage pan that catches the poop. It is very heavy. A&E should replace the heavy tray with a lighter plastic tray similar to what is used in dog crates.

Great cage. The parts were not labeled so putting this together was a hassle. I don't love the wheels are plastic so I'm wondering how long that's gonna last .

Beautiful cage with a major flaw
This is a beautiful cage that is spacious and fairly easy to assemble with help. Despite this, one of the side panels screw inserts/holes is defective. Upon screwing
This is a beautiful cage that is spacious and fairly easy to assemble with help. Despite this, one of the side panels screw inserts/holes is defective. Upon screwing in one of the screws, the screw became stuck and can no longer be tightened or loosened to remove it. The screw wasn’t stripped or inserted forcefully. It appears as though the screw insert/hole was never adhered to the cage properly causing the screw to simply spin around but not completely connect with the cage. There is now a partially screwed in screw stuck within the cage. I will have to hire help or simply deal with this malfunction. For such an expensive cage, this should not have happened.

Solid cage
We have 3 cockatiels. They have an extra large cage as their regular cage. We wanted a small cage that could be wheeled between rooms for free time on/in the cage
We have 3 cockatiels. They have an extra large cage as their regular cage. We wanted a small cage that could be wheeled between rooms for free time on/in the cage with the cage door open. We also needed a way to separate 1 bird from the others at times. It works great for these purposes. It is extra small and I would not buy it as the sole cage for more than 1 cockatiel or for any bird larger than a cockatiel. I was looking for a solid cage with a seed/poop guard and a shelf. We chose this one because it is solid and had a seed guard. I'm not sure I like the space between the bottom grate and tray - seems like a waste of space. We added a 16" x 18" shelf we got from the Container Store using Bondic glue to attach it. It works great. Now we can store some food and other items there.
