Nice quality cage at reasonable price

Six months ago, I purchased a double flight cage from another company. It was awful; the worst cage I have ever owned. My husband made it as stable and safe as possible, but then it started rusting. I have purchased A&E cages in the past and should have bought this cage (2 of them) in the first place. The quality is 100% better. There were no bent bars, the bars are a bit thicker than the previous cage, and the paint coating is much better. The door lock is very nice and it also has a drop down lock at the top of the door, making escape impossible. This cage is perfect for small birds. My parakeets are caged separately and each has plenty of room to move around and play. I used my own food and water bowls, as I don’t like plastic bowls (which came with the cages). My husband put the cages together in less than a half hour each. All pieces in both cages fit perfectly together. The cages screw in securely to the stands, which is much safer than cages that just sit on top of stands. It also rolls easily. The pull out tray makes for easy cleaning. I highly recommend spending a little more to get a nice quality cage like this one. In actuality, this cage price was very reasonable. I ended up throwing away several hundred dollars on the other cage. It wasn’t even safe enough to donate to a rescue. Due to the great quality of this cage, both will most likely last for years.

Also you can remove the top part of the cage and place it on a table or keep it on the wheels whatever works best for you. once it’s out the box it’s not as heavy as it seems at first which is also a huge win for me. don’t get me wrong tho it’s still pretty heavy since it’s good quality. The only thing i didn’t like is how tight one of the zip ties were. i scraped the cage a bit trying to take it off. also i tossed the feeding bowls since they’re plastic. Other than that i love this cage and it’s only the first day.
