All A&e Cage Company cages are double powder coated cages. During the powder coating process, they powder coat and dry each cage twice.

yay horizontal bars!

Overall I'm pleased with this cage, because it's hard to find ones with all horizontal bars. I have a one-legged parrot, and this makes it much easier to climb around

Overall I'm pleased with this cage, because it's hard to find ones with all horizontal bars. I have a one-legged parrot, and this makes it much easier to climb around. The two things I do not like with this cage are: 1) the bars on the grate are different than in the past; they're wider meaning a lot more poop is getting stuck to it. And 2) there's no secondary gravity latch on the main door; most A&E cages have this which provides extra security from the parrot escaping.

It’s decent enough. But the bars are flimsy, pieces came a little warped, the welds are horrible (a weld on one of the bowl holders was not attached) and the locks

I spent weeks following this cage. I wanted the platinum, but the black was discounted 36%. I was hesitant to get a black cage but finally took the plunge. The cage came with no damage and the packing was exceptional. When I saw the color I was surprised. It looks more like a speckled gray. I read some reviews that the medium 32 inch cage had a plastic tray. Mine came with a metal tray and a nice silver handle that attaches. I can’t wait to put the cage together this weekend. My cockatiels will be so happy! The cage is solid and well made. I have a smaller A and E cage now and love it! I am hoping to use the nesting door as a entrance to a hanging bird bath I have.

This is a nice spacious and sturdy cage. It has some good features, like the parrot proof latches on the main door and access doors for food and water dishes. However,

This is a nice spacious and sturdy cage. It has some good features, like the parrot proof latches on the main door and access doors for food and water dishes. However, it has some shortcomings too. Ideally a parrot cage should have both vertical and horizontal bars. This cage has only horizontal bars. The bars at the top are flat and they have rough edges. My new conure is happy with it and it should hold up for a long time.

Quality and size=exceptional value

I made a spontaneous move of getting a cockatoo that was being rehome. I had a cage but she definitely needed an upgrade. This was too nice to pass up. The color

I made a spontaneous move of getting a cockatoo that was being rehome. I had a cage but she definitely needed an upgrade. This was too nice to pass up. The color only makes her stand out. The best thing about the cage besides its size are the LOCKS. She was quite adept at letting herself ( and another bird) out. Everyone is safe now.
