The size of the small carrier is 14½ inches by 10½ inches by 7 inches. The size of the large carrier is 13½ inches by 9 inches by 18½ inches.

if someone bumps into it will it fold in?

As these are built very sturdily they may be suitable to travel on a motorcycle if properly secured.

This carrier was rated for a macaw and was a reasonable price.

I bought two of these carriers based on the breed sizes given. My umbrella cockatoo doesn't really fit without bumping her tail. My African grey parrot also bumps

I bought two of these carriers based on the breed sizes given. My umbrella cockatoo doesn't really fit without bumping her tail. My African grey parrot also bumps his tail. He is quite a bit smaller than the cockatoo. The quality is great and the price was quite reasonable. The perch size is small, but I am planning to try to make these work.

The perch does not stay in the little mounts on the sides even for one second! It spins freely and then if you touch the carrier it falls off immediately. Also you

Seems OK, but the included perch is too short and won't work!

Called Chewy after receiving the first defective item, they sent a second one but with the same problem. The perches they include are about 1/2" to 1" too short

Called Chewy after receiving the first defective item, they sent a second one but with the same problem. The perches they include are about 1/2" to 1" too short. Then, if they were long enough, they just rest on plastic cut-outs and would just spin in place so the bird would not have any secure footing. I ended up using a length of tree branch and screwed it in place from the sides to keep it secured.

It is very well made

However it is not big enough for a blue and gold Mc Caw. I liked how it zips open in the front. It is easy to clean. We did a test run and well that is when we found
