I was a bit skeptical about trying this product — crickets and black soldier fly larvae? Hmm, not exactly appetizing-sounding ingredients. But I decided to give it a go. I have two dogs: Millie, a 12-year-old pit bull terrier/border collie mix, and Stella, a 1-year-old dachshund/Aussie mix. I offered Millie a treat first. She sniffed it, shook her head, gave a little sneeze, and walked off — totally uninterested. No treat for her. Stella, on the other hand, couldn't get enough. Then again, Stella eats literally everything she finds. The treats smell kind of like a freshly tilled garden — earthy, not unpleasant, just... different. Bottom line: If you’ve got a picky eater like Millie, these probably aren’t going to be a hit. But if your pup is a food vacuum like Stella, go for it — they’ll love it.

I believe these types of products contribute to my pets’ good health and longevity. It is also made in the US which is a plus. There were some crumbly pieces at the bottom of the bag but there were no reservations about gobbling up the last of the bag. I see that there are a variety of flavors and perhaps the meat ones are not as crumbly.

I’m not going to lie I was little grossed out by the thought of giving my dogs bugs but the benefits outweighed my hold up and I decided to give them a try. My dogs eat them right up. I love that they are a healthy snack that is good for the pups gut biome. They are also a good source of protein.

Unfortunately our family of Great Danes did not find these treats to be amazing. Two of our three dogs would eat them quickly, while the third would let it drop

Two of our three dogs would eat them quickly, while the third would let it drop from his mouth, consider it a bit, and then reluctantly eat it off the floor before either of the other two could get it. As for feeding it, they are in strips, but as soon as I grab one they become very crumbly. I like that the ingredients are seemingly sustainable. They smell appropriate for a dog treat.

My husky wasn’t interested in the flavor, but my red heeler loved them and gets excited every time I open the bag. Even my cat surprised me by enjoying them too! What I really appreciate about this product: Sustainable Protein Source – Made with clean, eco-friendly insect protein, which is great for pets and the planet. Air-Dried for Nutrition – The jerky-style treats are gently air-dried to preserve nutrients without artificial preservatives. Easily Breakable – The texture makes them easy to tear into smaller pieces, perfect for training or portion control. While they weren’t a favorite for all my pets, those who liked them absolutely loved them. A great option to try if you're looking for something healthy, ethical, and different from standard treats.
