I had such high hopes for this calming spray. I have a 75 lb anxious dog. This spray has all the essential oils that I have read are calming. Since I have a vet appt next week and she hates the car and the 4th of July is coming up I thought this would help. My neighbors have started fireworks early and it's done nothing. She's afraid to go out in the yard even when there are no fireworks
I have seen some raving reviews and some not so great but I might have figured out why- I got expired product! Ordered January 2023 and it expired October of 2022!
I do not see a difference in my dog when I use it. Some days he is calmer than others. I d not see a correlation between when I use the spray and when I do not.
I’ve read some reviews and I’m glad that it works for your fur kids but did not work for mine. My girl use to love car rides but now when she’s in the car, she’ll pant and drool. I will have to look for something different to help her when she’s in the car.
I purchased this for my daughter whose big baby, a mix of Charpei and Bulldog, doesn't like thunder and lightening. She sprayed a blanket for him and he buried his nose in it and was happy as could be. Now he brings her the blanket when it begins to thunder.
Been using this product for about 5 years. I had a skittish, anxious rescue dog who was afraid of fireworks, thunderstorms, and even loud cars. I initially received this spray in a Bark Box subscription and in seeing that it was all natural with no side effects, I gave it a shot with no high hopes. Surprisingly, it worked! It brought down my dog's anxiety significantly. It didn't sedate him or put him to sleep, but he was calm enough that he wasn't shaking and panting. I followed the directions and massaged his ears and sprayed his bed for extra comfort. Even during his end of life when he was in pain, I used the spray to calm him.
Products are as described. Using with fearful dogs and some effect As I foster some gets home before finished.
Im sorry. I know those ingredients are calming for most people and dogs. But my dog in a mess. Nothing so far that I have tried has helped her. Im thinking I just need a tranq.
My Golden's have thunder phobia. I have tried the thundershirt, music, desensitizing, diffusing lavender, etc. This stuff works GREAT! I spray on my hands and wipe their ears and manes and they gain some serenity. It's also great to keep in my purse for procedures needed at the vet.
My dog is so scared of fireworks and thunder that there is nothing I have used yet that works. This spray seems to have a nice smell and thought it would calm her but she's petrified. Can't say it won't work for others, but for my dog, it's not working.
