Our Beagle mix Buddy destroys 99% of the toys we give him. This Earth Rated Tug Dog Toy is Buddy’s FAVORITE. He has played with it daily for almost a year and it barely has a scratch on it. And even though I have arthritis in my hands, my hands don’t hurt when I play tug of war with Buddy!

This toy is perfect for my super chewer pitty mix. She normally destroys anything we give her. But this toy has lasted well through daily use. She looks forward to our tug of war play time. With the rubber there are just bite marks but no where close to being destroyed.
A strong pull toy.
I bought this for my two beagles which are 22 and 27 pounds. They like the idea very much but it is a bit heavy for them at its weight. They have no trouble pulling
I bought this for my two beagles which are 22 and 27 pounds. They like the idea very much but it is a bit heavy for them at its weight. They have no trouble pulling on it, but I noticed they use it for a fairly short time because of its weight. I certainly would recommend it though for other dogs, especially that are bigger. It’s well-made.

I have a 44 lb Australian cattle dog mix and she destroys everything fairly easily, even tug toys or chew toys for aggressive chewers. So far it hasn’t shown any signs of damage and we play with it every day. She loves to jump to grab it while in midair. She’s very strong with her tugs and I can see her teeth grabbing into the material when we’re playing as if to puncture it, but there’s never any punctures or sign of damage. I’ll update this review if and when it begins to show wear and tear.

Bought this for my previous pup, but he wouldn’t chew it. He was older and didn’t use chew toys much, so not too surprising. But now I have two six-month-old lab/pit mix puppies who chew on EVERYTHING, but neither of them will even put this in their mouth. I’m giving it two stars because it seems like a good, durable chew toy, but I have yet to meet a dog who wants to chew it.

I have a 9 month old Poodle mix that can destroy the aggressive chewer toys in 2 hours from Bark Box. This toy however, it's been almost a week and you can't even see a bite mark left behind. He loves this toy, and it's one of the few that doesn't feel like I'm just throwing money away with. I'll be looking at more products from this brand.
Strong smell BITTER taste

Would try to hold it if I was but when I have him the option of literally AnY other older toy he would pick anything else and wouldn't touch it on his own. Seems pretty toxic to leave that much of a taste. It does feel nice tho so if your dog can't taste anything and you aren't concerned about toxicity this might be toy for you. One star because I couldn't do negative 3.
