I bought this hoping that the moisturizing effect would tame the static in my long-haired cats' fur. Unfortunately none of my cats can stand the scent. It's too bad, because I really like the ingredients list! I'm guessing that the scent is from the phenoxyethanol, which is a preservative that's said to have a scent like roses. My cat that I tried it on doesn't smell like real roses, but she does smell like artificial rose scent. Since other reviewers commented on how this stuff doesn't have a strong smell, I don't know why it smells so strong to me (and my cats). I did shake the bottle, like it says to do.

I've only used this twice but it seems to work well. My cat is adverse to ANY sprays so I have to spray it on my hands first and then rub it on him. He doesn't necessarily

I've only used this twice but it seems to work well. My cat is adverse to ANY sprays so I have to spray it on my hands first and then rub it on him. He doesn't necessarily like it, but it helps with his static during these drier winter months. And it makes his coat soft and it smells nice.

Gentle yet effective

Originally got this when my puppy was 3 months old. He had very itchy and flaky skin and this gave him instant relief and also made his coat shine and feel softer

Nice for detangling and shiny coat

I spritz my yorkie with this after baths and brush it in - nice shine! If she has tangles or seeds/burrs stuck in her hair I can spray this on to help with combing

I spritz my yorkie with this after baths and brush it in - nice shine! If she has tangles or seeds/burrs stuck in her hair I can spray this on to help with combing out. I don’t need to use this every time for her daily brushing, but it doesn’t build up on her hair as much as a typical leave in conditioner. I really appreciate that it’s fragrance free - it has a nice natural scent but no strong or lasting scent.

I have a little 70 lb pittie mix with pretty coarse hair and some itchy skin problems. This has been so nice and I think it helps his skin and it really makes his coat extra soft and shiny. I apply this with a rubber brush to get good contact with the skin and it helps pull more hair out.
