Does this boot also allow for airflow?

do you sell replacement leather sole inserts for this boot, and if not were can I get them

At this time replacement inserts are not available for this boot.

Does the price include one boot or two? Are they non slip? Are they ok for turnout or light exercise?

This boot is sold individually. The non-slip tread provides traction (not meant for riding). They are not suitable for turn-out.

How do you measure a hoof for these boots?

After a fresh trim, measure the width of the hoof across the bottom at the widest point. I have attached a photo for steps to take when measuring the hoof for these boots.

The ease of use

We were treating an abscess and wrapping his foot daily. These therapy boot came in extremely handy and helpful.

appeared to be well made

Did not work at all for us. Donkeys are very upright and this was obviously built for a pony - too much angle. Could not use it.

The boot is very well made, and designed to be easily put on and taking off.

My horse that we’re treating for white line disease lives out 24 seven so that is tough on any boot, to keep it on, to keep it oriented in the right direction, and

My horse that we’re treating for white line disease lives out 24 seven so that is tough on any boot, to keep it on, to keep it oriented in the right direction, and to not cause any rubs. This boot always stayed on, it caused no rubs it all, whereas some others have, but he turns while his foot is still on the ground, which causes the boot to go sideways. Due to the boot, becoming twisted, the first one only lasted two weeks, it developed a tear within a few days where the sole is stitched on, but it still was usable for the better part of two weeks to try and keep gravel and grit out of the hoof packing. I had a second boot, which I just started using yesterday so far OK but still it does not stay straight on him. Another horse on the farm where is it with much less twisting and I’m not sure why As the sizes for each or as close to what that horse needs for what is offered.

This boot!! The biggest time saver!! I have used the cloud boots before on an older horse that had bad laminitis, this boot is cool because of the thin sole you can use just the one boot, and when you are doctoring for an abscess you don't have to make it out of tape which is so time consuming. Getting the boot off is quick and easy so is getting it back on! It has stayed on with no problems even with snow/mud and some bucking and playing. Highly recommend having this on hand for emergencies!!

Saved me a lot of work

I had a horse with a heel bulb laceration and the vet recommended this,because I had to wrap his foot everyday. This saved me from having to make a duct tape wrap.After

I had a horse with a heel bulb laceration and the vet recommended this,because I had to wrap his foot everyday. This saved me from having to make a duct tape wrap.After he was heeled up enough not to have to wrap, my donkey got an abscess.so now she is wearing it.
