This pet-friendly spray is great for controlling ants in your home. The peppermint scent and light oil blocks the ants from reading their trails, while also creating a deterrent. Works great to spray across pantry doorways, around coffee makers or aquariums (ants like water), sink drains, trash cans, etc. I spray any wall, floor, window, or trim gaps that they come out to keep sugar ants from returning. In SoCal, sugar ants get into a lot of the houses every summer. This is the best that I’ve found, and have been using this for about 20 years. Note, I don’t have any experience with other types of ants. It doesn’t work as well for spiders, but it isn’t marketed for them either. A word of caution, keep pets away when you’re spraying, the fine mist and strong smell can be harmful.

I wouldn’t say this necessarily kills bugs, but it is a very good deterrent. I spray this in areas. I commonly find bugs and it does keep them away.

It works fast to get rid of the ants getting into the outdoor cats food!

I really don't like the smell, but I don't think it bothered the cats as much as the ants did.
