Dr. Melissa Witherell earned her DVM from Iowa State University in 2018. She went on to complete internships at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital and the Animal Medical Center, gaining extensive experience with dogs, cats, birds, pocket pets, and reptiles.
With over a decade in veterinary medicine, Dr. Witherell is passionate about helping pet parents understand their pet’s health and has been part of Chewy’s veterinary team for the past four years.
