The picture & description provided make it sound like an Off-Leash 4-session DVD is included, but under "What's Included?" the training DVD is not mentioned. So is the Off-Leash 4 Sessions Dog Training DVD included or not?

Answer by ChewySep 25, 2020
The Educator E-Collar Mini 1/2 Mile Remote Dog Training Collar comes with the 101 Off-Leash 4 Sessions Dog Training DVD.

will this collar help me to train my puppy not to bark so much?

Answer by ChewyMay 10, 2022
It is recommended that a puppy be at least 6 months of age and understand basic obedience commands such as "sit" or "stay" in order to begin using a training collar. The training collar allows you to communicate with your dog to get their attention and help train them to not jump up on people. This set includes a manual with some training tips.

The owner's manual with the training tips, is that the same as the 40 page e-collar training manual or something different?

Answer by ChewySep 25, 2020
The owner's manual has 34 pages, you can access it by navigating to the "Instructions" tab beneath the product photo.

if I get the 2 collar pack does it work for two dogs or do I need a second transmitter

Answer by ChewyDec 20, 2021
This training collar is loaded with unique features, including ""lock and set"" stimulation levels from 1 to 100 so you can control 2 collars with 1 remote.

It's just ok

Don't bother getting the collar with the DVD included. I didn't think it was explained or filmed very clearly. I did better finding YouTube videos that went more

Don't bother getting the collar with the DVD included. I didn't think it was explained or filmed very clearly. I did better finding YouTube videos that went more into detail about timing and the theory behind it. Also the circular remote makes no sense. It's not an ergonomic design at all and it took a lot of getting used to to push the buttons, and I'm always afraid it's going to slip out of my hand. And all the buttons and functions are not intuitive. I was hoping the DVD would explain how to use it but it didn't at ALL. I had to sit down with the manual for 30 minutes and read in detail how to program everything. And even then it wasn't easy to read and understand what they were saying. I do like the fine tuning of it. It seems really well built and I like that it has separate tone, vibrate, and stimulation buttons. Overall I wouldn't recommend this model but I might recommend one of the models with a more "normal" remote and no DVD.

I have a Doberman puppy about 1year old. He has such a hard time with walks because he loses his ever loving mind with any dog he hears or sees. I have tried trainers, special collars, harnesses, treats, it seemed like everything, but nothing stopped the insane barking, pulling, and lunging. After I had tried to contact a professional dog training organization 5 times, but received no callback, I decided I would try the e-collar training myself. The training videos are incredibly helpful, and after 1 week I have noticed significant improvement in my puppy. We still have a ways to go, but I now am hopeful that we might find ourselves a peaceful walk or two in the future. I would suggest trying this little collar out.
