would it work on my American bulldog?

This collar is is suitable for all breeds. Not recommended for dogs under 5 lbs and younger than 4 months old.

Is this the rx-120 large or the rx -090 small?

Please read the product discription first! The training collar and fence technologies are completely different, and as such are not compatible. I have been a long time user of the Educator E-collar and have loved it. When I needed a containment system I immediately went to the E-fence system. I just need an additional receiver. When the dog is properly trained according to the instructions, this system works amazingly well with little stimulation ever needed. And it can be set to audio tones only if you have a very sensitive pup. To top it off, this product is made in the USA.

Heed the warnings - does NOT work with the educator collars even recent ones

This appears to be for fence systems only. I purchased a few weeks ago as a replacement for my ET-400 The Educator but it does not have the red dot to connect to

This appears to be for fence systems only. I purchased a few weeks ago as a replacement for my ET-400 The Educator but it does not have the red dot to connect to the remotes. This is what I purchased that this collar wasn't compatible with: https://www.chewy.com/educator-by-e-collar-technologies-34/dp/166798 I hope Chewy stocks the correct replacement soon as I was so bummed to have to order direct from the manufacturer with their slow shipping etc.

I have a mini educator (ET-300) and absolutely love it; When used properly (emphasis on properly), it's a wonderful training tool! I bought this second collar for my puppy now that he's old enough (4 months) to start training with it. It works perfectly, but you must pair it with your remote first (and make sure you have a model that supports multiple receivers), or it won't work. You can find tutorials on pairing on YouTube :)

Not compatable with remote
