Replaced my tetra whisper 10 with this because it was too loud. The tetra whisper was incredibly loud and I always had to leave it outside my aquarium cabinet because of the vibrations and sounds it made. The eheim is so quiet comparatively. No excessive vibration or sound that I hear anymore since I work right next to it. Powers my 30g sponge filter.
