Works well, but does not fit the intake tubing for the 250 classic.

I had to get creative to get this pre-filter to fit my eheim classic 250 tubing. it does work and is also easy to clean .

Perfect and much better than a simple sponge to cover the intake of your canister. So far it does not impede the intake flow. Perfect if you have baby/fry in your aquarium. It is sort of large, but can be hidden with plants in your aquarium. If Chewy starts selling more of these perhaps Chewy will start selling the sponge replacements for this filter.
