Noisy and Leaks
I got this hoping it would work for a ten gallon. Unfortunately, it's very noisey and has leaking issues. I'm giving it a shot to see if I can solve the issues but

Great water flow
This does an excellent job of turning over the water in my tank. It is very quiet. Be forewarned - the instructions are not the best. However, you can easily learn

This is a great pump. Efficient design. Easy to get started. BUT the instructions are useless. Buy the pump anyway. It’s great. Then go to YouTube and get

Eheim gives you everything you need to set this up including hose cutoffs that I’ve never seen other manufacturers provide. Very well thought out filter.

Great filter
I've used these classic Eheim filters for years and love them. You do have to start a siphon from the tank but that's easy. The in-line on/off valves makes this
I've used these classic Eheim filters for years and love them. You do have to start a siphon from the tank but that's easy. The in-line on/off valves makes this easy. It also makes cleaning them a breeze. Once running these filters are silent and do a fantastic job.
Very difficult to prime
The instructions for this pump are not very user friendly if you have not had a canister before...like me. I do not recommend this item for novice or low intermediate
The instructions for this pump are not very user friendly if you have not had a canister before...like me. I do not recommend this item for novice or low intermediate aquarium owners. Must be advanced. Wish I could send it back since it is useless if you can't get it primed. I love Chewy, however. I also have been all afternoon cleaning up a flood because I didn't realize the pump was still pumping white disconnected to it's tubing.
