Can you use this along with fortiflora?

Answer by MikalaJul 10, 2023
Yes! Endosorb is a liquid absorber in the GI tract & Fortiflora is just a probiotic. They work well together!

What does suspension mean?

Answer by ChewyMay 05, 2025
This medication comes in an aqueous suspension that includes activated attapulgite to provide adsorbent activity in the gastrointestinal tract for easier, convenient dosing. When a medication comes in suspension form, it means that the active ingredients are dispersed (but not dissolved) in a liquid. Unlike a solution, where everything is completely dissolved, a suspension contains tiny solid particles that float in the liquid and can settle over time. That’s why suspensions often require shaking before use to evenly distribute the ingredients.

Too much liquid for each dose

This didn’t work for us at all because the dose required so much liquid. 15-45 ml per dose is far too much, 1.5 full syringes for the smallest dose alone. My dog

This didn’t work for us at all because the dose required so much liquid. 15-45 ml per dose is far too much, 1.5 full syringes for the smallest dose alone. My dog hated the taste and gagged the liquid everywhere. Needs to be much more concentrated or sell the pills in less than a 500 count bottle so we don’t have to deal with liquid at all.

Works well

Use with a small dog with sensitive belly. Really does the trick when things get off track.

Comes unsealed

There is no tamper seal on this product. The bottle just comes thrown in a box- no packaging to make sure it wasn't tampered with. If you order heavy things along

There is no tamper seal on this product. The bottle just comes thrown in a box- no packaging to make sure it wasn't tampered with. If you order heavy things along with it, Chewy doesnt care and will just chuck it in the same box where it may or may not explode all over everything. Packaging matters. Do not recommend.

I meant to get the tablets but accidently got the liquid which my dog is glad to eat with cooked rice. Endosorb was first recommended by a neighbor and my vet sang its praises. It is quick and effective. This is especially important to me right now. Because of medical issues I am constantly changing dog foods looking for the right one. Unfortunately the quick changes upset my dogs digestive system. We don’t have the luxury of a 3 day treatment of chicken and rice. This solves the problem.

Yes, it worked!

Mix with good canned food and she ate it! Just one tablespoon and she’s 52 pounds. Let’s see what the next ch t movement shows.

Works quickly

Fast-acting in clearing things up. Not easy to get the dogs to take it, involuntarily, but worth the effort. Recommend.
