About This Item

Details

Epizyme is a prescription powder that acts as a digestive aid. This medication is most commonly used in those who are not able to properly digest food due to the lack of digestive enzymes created by the pancreasa condition known as exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI). Epizyme helps to improve the digestion of proteins, carbohydrates and fats, while also helping your pet get to a healthy weight.

We directly source prescription medications from manufacturers and wholesale distributors registered with the FDA and licensed by applicable state boards. Guaranteed genuine, and where applicable, backed by the manufacturer.

literature reco'd powder and very slowly improvements started after three days. However, now, less than a week in, GSD 2 yr old refused to eat the food. Have now ordered pancreplus tablets instead. Reviewers said dogs will eat the tabs readily. I will review tablets results once we have tried them.

I initially tried the PancrePlus enzyme powder, which was working very well, but switched to the Epizyme because it is $50 cheaper. Unfortunately, the Epizyme enzyme powder is not working Rainey. The PancrePlus which we had only used for one month, pretty much had her back to normal. But after using this for a couple of weeks, she is actually reverting back to where we were after the diagnosis. Where this might work for some dogs, it is not working for her.

This was a good enzyme to help when the pancreas is not processing food. But you have to wait the 10-15 min for it to activate in the food before giving it to your pet. I wish I had know about this when my Macy had bad gas. It was the start to her pancreatic cancer and didn't start using this until she was diagnosed a year later. It's worked great and her poo wasn't perfect, but it wasn't diarreha which meant it was processing the food in her tummy. Also had to take out all hard kibble and feed only soft food. Soft food digested better.
