Isn't tea tree oil poisonous to dogs?

Answer by ChewyJul 02, 2025
The overall ratio of tea tree oil in the formula is very minimal, and typically for tea tree oil to cause issues it would need to be ingested or directly absorbed into the skin at a much higher concentration.

Horse allergic to pyrethrum

This is a great product if your horse is allergic to standard fly sprays.

The lemongrass attracts bees

Repels the flies really well. But it attracts bees!! I had no idea that they were attracted to lemongrass. If you live in an area with lots of bees - please use

Works well

This works well to keep the flies off my horses in AZ (dry, hot climate). Was looking for a replacement for Animal Legends which was discontinued. Not quite as clean,

Nice product

I’ve tried several natural fly sprays, and last summer I made my own. I saw this one this year and thought I’d give it a try since it has many of the same ingredients I was using in my homemade stuff last year, namely Neem oil. It smells much better than what I made and is at least as cost effective after buying all the essential oils, if not cheaper. As to effectiveness, it works well. No fly spray, even the pyrethrins, “work” longer than twenty minutes or so in my experience. So I choose the natural sprays to knock the bugs out for awhile and save myself and my horses from the toxins. This one is a very nice formula and I recommend it.

Love the smell

Lasts for 2 days keeping flies off, wish it would last longer, but it does make the hair coat have a nice feel to it.
