what size treats would fit in this ball? any treat recommendations please?
Answer by ChewyOct 01, 2020
This toy is intended to be used with kibble and small treats. Training treats, specialty dog foods, and other hard goodies that average under 3/4 an inch in diameter.

Does this ball have one hole or two? Is it hard plastic or soft !
Answer by ChewyNov 05, 2020
This treat dispenser ball has 2 holes, 1 main hole for treats to dispense and a smaller hole so there is no suction created. The ball is made of a firm rubber.

How big is this?
Answer by ChewyFeb 24, 2020
This ball is 3 inches in diameter.

How much kibble would this approximately hold?
Answer by ChewySep 11, 2020
It's recommended to fill a portion of your dog's meal or treats in the ball.

purple treat dispenser

This is a very fun ball for my dog to chew, but the point of it was for him to get some mental energy out with it. Well, the treats he can have (sensitive stomach) are small & do come out of the round hole relatively quickly. I would buy this again, but know it is not going to be long minutes of activity for my dog with his little treats.

Nah

I bought two very similar green treat dispensing balls. Both are about a 3 star. They cannot be opened to clean thoroughly so they're likely to get bacteria and/or mold issues over time. The exterior material/texture kinda collects hair when rolling around. My dog likes them but does get frustrated that he can't get the treats out. He basically has to chew hard enough to mash them (soft training treats) then lick up the crumbs. Overall my dog likes it but I wouldn't buy again. I'll go back to the annoyingly loud hard plastic ball that screws shut and that I can clean.

yes!

My pups fell in love with this. I had to buy a second one so they could each have one. The opening is the right size to make it engaging but also rewarding. The size worked great for my 30-60 lb labs. If your dog is a chewer, use this as a supervised toy because they will get their teeth into those holes and pull (although it’s very sturdy). Mine are only interested in the treats so it works great for them.

dog torture or fun??

Cute idea , for a younger dog I bet it’s quite interesting and entertaining ! However for an older dog it’s a little mean- especially if they can’t get the treats out ! I was expecting a green ball and got purple ( which I probably wouldn’t have bought) but all in all a cute idea -

Fantastic purchase

My blind dog LOVES this toy for some fun stimulation. I just fill it up a little bit with dog food, not treats. He had it figured out in just a few minutes and goes crazy over it now.

Too Rigid

This is my dogs favorite treat dispenser but I had to order a new one. This version seems pretty costly, seems to uses a much more rigid plastic, and the holes for the treats are smaller.

Tough and stimulating

It has been weeks and our shred things apart dog has not damaged this toy. He loves chewing on it and the treat function helps calm him when we leave him home.

@codenameberlin digs it!

Berlin, my Border Collie, is a heavy chewer, but internal maze keeps him entertained long enough to forget his compulsion to chew on a ball! It's also a great travel companion and keeps him occupied when we are in hotels.

Keeps Them Busy

I love that this is a bit more difficult to dispense the treats out compared to other balls that are completely hollow inside. It keeps my corgi entertained for longer!

Nice!

Very handy little thing to have on hand if you have a dog that gets bored. My 40lb Heeler mix chews on it without mercy and I’d say it holds up well, very similar to a Kong in that manner. My one and only complaint is that it’s the perfect size to roll right under the couch and get lost every single time lol.
