Alright for some dogs
I have 2 dogs and 1 is good with these toys, but have discovered that my female ate hers! She has never eaten a toy in her life, but I feel like because this is leather, thats why she ate it. Never thought about the fact leather is animal hide and why wouldn't some dogs want to eat it.
I like it!
My dog has really liked the Leather toys, and this one was no different. They toy has held up pretty well but if docking a star because of how quickly the rope handle has started to unravel. Still useable but could be better.
Do not buy
This toy lasted 1/2 hour before my dalmation had the squeaker out and a mouth full of filling. Straight into the trash. Dangerous for any dog bigger than a few pounds
its not Dura-Tuff
We had high hopes this would last awhile cuz buying these toys can get costly..daang! also had a torn corner in an hour while under supervision, I just wanted to see what would happen...next!
Ok at best
This is an ok toy. It requires supervision though. I don't allow my dog to chew on it for very long before taking it away.
Good for chewers
We have purchased several Ethical Pet leather toys and are pleased with all. They hold up well with small chewers too.

It should last!
My dog is a serious chewer of new toys - no appendages allowed so heads, legs etc. come right off. We are also working on tugging. There is nothing to chew off (rope handle is no fun), throws well and he will tug with it more readily than harder surfaced toys. Great toy and it should last - the squeaker is not easily removed as it is well protected.
Didn’t have a chance!
We have a 15 month old black mouth cur, this lasted hours. Made cheaply, I know it’s not a chew toy but just him playing fetch and it fell apart!!!
He loves it, but it won't last
Both dogs were so excited to smell toys in the box. Rudy the rottie wiggled so hard in excitement when he smelled the leather that he almost knocked the box out of my hands. In an hour he pulled one end of the handle out. The next morning he was pulling out stuffing and we used a needle nose to pull out the rest 'cause he'd eat it. Now he's happily chewing on one end and carrying it everywhere with him. So.. definitely worth the money.
