Not hard enough. My dogs were able to just chew them up in no time.

My girls are heavy duty chores, so I have to have really tough stuff for them to chew on, and they really liked these choose they just were gone in a minute.

Good for less aggressive chewers

My GSD Ruger loves these. He's not an aggressive chewer--won't bother with hard toys, bones, stag horns, etc. The vet has done dental cleanings and cannot find

He's not an aggressive chewer--won't bother with hard toys, bones, stag horns, etc. The vet has done dental cleanings and cannot find any issues with his teeth so I guess he just prefers softer chews and he loves these. I have not noticed any smell to these chews and they don't leave a mess. Ruger gives these 5 stars and so do I.
