I bought this collar because my dog's neck had no hair from the old, nylon collar. After some research, I found out that leather is best, so I bought it for my furbaby. Within 4 weeks the hair under the collar grew back and he has hasn't had any skin issues under the new, leather collar. I highly recommend it.
