Good customer service, bad product

Ordered this leash for my 60 lb dog, the leash snapped right by the clasp, chewy was awesome and sent us a replacement right away. Unfortunately the replacement

Ordered this leash for my 60 lb dog, the leash snapped right by the clasp, chewy was awesome and sent us a replacement right away. Unfortunately the replacement also snapped in the same spot so I opted for a refund this time. I’m unsure if it’s from the thickness of the leather or if it’s possibly not real leather. It’s stylish but not functional for us.

The leash is everything as describe in the product description. I would add that the leather is lightweight. I bought it to replace our old one. I have been using the same leather leash for over twenty years, purchased in Germany. The leather and hardware was consistent with that used with a bridle. This is much lighter. It will do for my old 100lb retriever, but I would not use it if our feisty german shepherd were still with us. I do not expect this to last twenty years like my last one. (The blue is pretty as well.)
