This is the first time we’ve tried Chewy and the delivery is phenomenal however the pup wasn’t so lucky. We’ve been using a mix of Evange’rs wet food mixing with a consistent Evanger’s dry for years now with excellent results and excellent stools. First can we received on this shipment, opened, mixed and he ate, diarrhea for two days straight. Now I’m worried to give him any more. All the cans have the same lot number on them.

My pup loves the food but the gas-tastrophe !

When I originally was shopping for a wet dog food, I used the filters that chewy provided and selected weight management with grains. Somehow this food came up. Not sure how because it’s very fatty and high in calories. It’s also grain free and my dog requires grains due to her heart condition. She loves the food but the gas it gives her after the fact is unbelievable! We can’t handle it. Not only that it’s not suitable for her diet. We even transitioned the food carefully, and it still caused her to have gas issues. My advice is to carefully read the can once you get your order to make sure that everything is correct for your dog. I didn’t catch the problem until it was two cans into the food case.

A local grocery store recently started carrying this brand. I bought a couple of cans last week of another flavor. I liked the texture of the food and my dogs scarfed it down. So I ordered more flavors on Chewy. Today I received my order and immediately opened a can for our afternoon snack. My girls just LOVED it. Evangers is being added to our regular menu.
