GREAT INTEREST FROM MY DOGS AS I OPENED THE CAN. WHEN I PUT THE BOWLS DOWN, I HAD TO GET OUT OF THE WAY. IN 1 MINUTE IT WAS ALL GONE. TO SAY THAT THEY LIKED IT WAS AN UNDER STATEMENT.
We have been feeding our dogs Evanger's dog food (both dry and wet) for the last 10 years. We never had problems with finicky eaters. Their veterinarians always commented on how healthy and strong the boys are/were.
My dog would not eat this. I thought it would be healthy for him but nope, he wouldnt touch it. My cat actually liked it more than my dog!
I fed 6 cats this food, three of them vomited, others refused to eat it. I am hoping this will blow over, but the rest of the case is going in the garbage.
Someone wrote a review once & wished peas wouldn’t be in dog food for some health reason. This food doesn’t list any peas & my picky dog ate it right up & didn’t have any bad reactions from trying a new food. SCORE!
Fantastic all around, I will always have a case or 2 give my cats a bit of change from their "regulation"" food. They all 4 loved it! Putting 3 cases om auto ship right now.
Vinny has a diet of dried and wet food. He's in good condition, with a bright coat and excellent teeth. We think Evanger's, the wet food, helps with that.
I thought this would be convenient for my dog and cat to eat the same canned food, so that i wouldn't have to keep track of two orders. Unfortunately, neither of them will eat it unless I leave it in the bowl until they are starving!!
My kitties and kittens eat a raw diet, but Evanger's high quality proteins are what I give them for a "fast food" meal, when I haven't the time to prepare the raw diet. I figure it also gives them more variety. They like all the Evanger's varieties I've given them: Chicken, Buffalo, Quail, and Rabbit. Thank you Evanger's and Chewy for the high quality and GREAT prices!
This is one of the few available cat foods that does not have fillers. No added starches of any kind. Just chicken, water, liver, and guar gum. The only downside is that the guar gum is a bit too much as the food is a little too thick and sticky. The gum is unnecessary and Sox says he'd prefer it wasn't there at all. At least it doesn't seem to bother his digestive tract.
