My dog definitely loves this salmon. My cats are about 50/50. I initially bought it for my Cornish Rex who has food allergies. I’m keeping her diet pretty simple these days. For those of you reading this w a cat who has food allergies also, I have found Quincy (Cornish Rex) really loves tiki cat wild salmon and wellness sliced salmon entree.
Wild Salmon? Not so wild......

I would give this a 5, but every time I order the Evanger's "wild salmon" from Chewy I instead get the "salmon" which would be farmed salmon. Chewy, if you don't have the wild salmon then I don't want it. I know the difference and farmed salmon is filthy and horrendous for the environment and I don't want to support that awful industry.
3 stars only because..

My 3 dogs love salmon, and this is a good choice since there are really no fillers. It is not a "firm" canned food, but I mix it with dry food, and they love it. It would be nice if it was thicker, but that would mean adding a filler type of ingredient, so I am happy with what it is.
Brigetta loves it!

My Shepherd/Sheltie mix loves this salmon dinner. It was a trial-run, but has passed with flying colors (thank goodness!) because I had to order a whole case of 12 cans. I mix a half can with her regular kibble. The salmon is a little watery to begin with, so I don't add any water to her food.
cat snubs salmon

It says on the label that there is just salmon, fish broth and guar gum in the can, and it looks like that's true, including bones. I don't see why humans couldn't eat this stuff, but my cat doesn't like it. He'll eat it if he's really hungry, but otherwise he leaves it there. Dogs might like it better. It says it's for both cats and dogs.

We are currently adding Evanger's to our puppy's dry food. Unlike a lot of salmon products, this is all salmon and blends well with our pup's meal. She loves it!

Dogs are cool to luke warm about this. Not as good as other salmon based dog food I tried.
My dogs love it

Both my dogs are very picky eaters. My big girl...Catahoula mix...has food allergy issues. As soon as we started this food her skin looked so much better and her hair was thicker! This food is amazing! Both my fur babies love this food!

I normally love Evanger's products but this is not good. I ordered a whole case of the grain-free wild salmon and found it to be unusually stinky. It was a lot more smelly than your average can of salmon or sardines. This wasn't a one can happening. The whole case appears to be like this. My dogs appear to be OK with it but I cannot stand the smell. I'm not sure if was made with an older product but I will not be buying the Wild Salmon variety again.
