Kittens will begin eating moistened food around 4 weeks of age. Keep moistened food available at all times. Gradually reduce moisture until your kitten is eating only dry food.
Pregnant/Nursing Cats: Food consumption may vary throughout gestation and lactation. During gestation, feed the amount to maintain the weight of the pregnant female. During lactation, feed 2 to 4 times normal intake.
When switching to Grain Free Kitten Formula Cat Food from another cat food, it’s good to allow 7 to 10 days for the transition. Mix increasing amounts of Grain Free Kitten Formula Cat Food with decreasing amounts of your cat’s previous food until you are feeding only Grain Free Kitten Formula Cat food.
Grain free kitten & cat food is so expensive and the price keeps going up. I have kitties with digestive issues, and one completely allergic to grain (the side effects are horrible!) so everything I buy must be grain free. I tried this out as an alternative to Purina kitten chow (which caused diarrhea) because of the reasonable cost. My kitten, and all the cats seem to enjoy it and sometimes choose it over the pricier options in the other bowls.
I have a mix of ages and mostly kittens. One kitten was constipated and another was vomiting on the "all stages" dry food I fed them all. With the kittens in mind and to strengthen their little systems, I switched to this formula. It worked! No more vomiting and regular poops out of the other!
Can’t get either of my senior cats to really like this so have been mixing with either tuna or other canned food
My 13 yr old cat has suddenly developed allergies. I have done a lot of online research trying to find a dry cat food without corn, wheat, soy, cargeenan. This is the only dry food she will eat without throwing it up. The price of this food is the most inexpensive you will find. Cannot beat the quality for the price. Have not bought the canned because not sure if it is pate and she will not eat any other type of canned food.
Awesome. Use this food
Keeley is the new addition to my family. She is 5 months old and she likes this food.
I wanted to try a new dry food for my 12 1/2 year old cat to supplement her wet food. She didn’t like the other brand I got her, but she seems to enjoy this, and gobbles it up. Although they say it’s for kittens, the pellets are “user friendly” for an older cat, as well, and the ingredients are high quality. I like the smaller bag size option, too. I’d recommend it.
I was looking for something different for my kittens. I am glad I tried this Evolve kitten food. They like it. They don’t go crazy so I don’t have to worry about them eating too fast or overeating. I mix this food with other kitten food and it’s working well for me.
My kitty, and my chihuahua love it. My chihuahua started stealing the kittens food, but the ingredients are great, so I let both of them munch on it. The bites are also super small so its great for their little mouths
Works to put on weight for my older cat with a finicky appetitr
