Will this melt the screen on lid??

This heat lamp could melt a screen lid if placed directly on top. We recommend having the fixture installed at least 4 inches away from the top of the terrarium for proper ventilation.
Can this be used in a bearded dragon encloser?

This lamp may be used for a bearded dragon habitat. Exo Terra recommends combining this bulb with the Exo Terra Night Heat Bulb Reptile Lamp or Exo Terra Infrared Basking Infrared Spot Lamp to achieve a complete 24-hour cycle.

The spectrum is ideal for plant’s photosynthesis and the UVA (ultraviolet A) light contributes to reptiles’ physiological well-being. Another important factor is the heat emitted by this bulb to increase the over all ambient temperature in the terrarium.
