I was super excited to test this little guy out since I always struggle to read the temperature gauges in our box turtles tank. The only set up is pretty much removing it from the package and you’re all set. The first time I used it I was able to see our basking light wasn’t warm enough and replace it. It’s super easy to measure different areas in his tank and I don’t feel like I’m just guessing anymore. Love this!

Perfect thermometer for checking temperatures in different areas of your enclosure. I have a Russian Tortoise and an enclosure with 2 levels. This thermometer allows me to measure her 2nd floor as well as directly under her heat lamp and far away from it. I have a thermometer stuck to the wall but it only measures that direct spot. Now I can make adjustments to ensure she is getting the proper temperatures she needs. Bejng portable I can also check her outdoor enclosure to make sure she is safe outside.

This is a good product. It measures the temp, within a degree either up or down, of the temp gun i have now. Its very easy to use & the temperature is very easy
This is a good product. It measures the temp, within a degree either up or down, of the temp gun i have now. Its very easy to use & the temperature is very easy to read. My only complaint is the buttons that you press on the thing are sticky for some reason and I can't clean it off. I tried a little bit of alcohol and I tried a few other things, but the buttons are still sticky. No, idea why, but it won't stop me from using it.

This is a great way to spot check areas for whatever you want to know the temperature of. The light is helpful when aiming to ensure you're measuring where you truly want to see the temperature of. You do have to get somewhat close to consistently get the correct temperature when measuring, but it will do so accurately every time from my testing with a normal thermometer and some hot water in a cup. It comes with a battery even which seems rare now a days. Would recommend.
