I use these for a variety of my lizards to supplement their calcium intake!! And a 5 lb. bag lasts me at least a year!! I crunch them and add them to a meal, or just put them in a bowl as is.My babies love them and they cut the price of weekly live prey insects!! Even my herbivore lizards like ‘em!! We all know chickens eat everything. I lovingly call them trash-birds for this. Yes, they ate these crickets, but not with gusto. When I throw dried black soldier larvae on the ground, they eat every last crumb and fight over it. Every time I throw these crickets on the ground, they peck at them, but there's definitely no feeding frenzy and they leave plenty behind. I've fed them a ton of live crickets before and they've excitedly gobbled those up.
