Ordered this for my rats when they were younger- worked well with holding their food blocks. Holes are a bit big for their adult food, but we make up for that using

Ordered this for my rats when they were younger- worked well with holding their food blocks. Holes are a bit big for their adult food, but we make up for that using paper as filler. The rats love it!!! Had to order a new one because I dropped it and it broke- definitely a favorite in this house!!!

Rats go nuts playing with this

I put some fresh vegetables in this and made sure to leave some sticking out of the holes. My rats went wild having fun snatching the snacks out! Great for enrichment

These are great for more chunky treats. Fruits and vegetables are my personal recommendation for this, especially hard ones like carrots and apples. Hanging it,

Hanging it, or just attaching it to a bottom part of the cage to rest on the floor and roll it around. It's been a year and it's still working well for me!

I got this toy as an enrichment foraging toy for a medium sized rat. The holes in the sides are pretty large; you could fit food pellets in it but not homemade mixes

I got this toy as an enrichment foraging toy for a medium sized rat. The holes in the sides are pretty large; you could fit food pellets in it but not homemade mixes or seed mixes as they would fall right out. It does seem to work okay for treats like Gerber Puffs, and my rat is definitely having to try for her food! Overall, good product for the price.
