do you have to keep this in the fridge?

Answer by ChewyApr 04, 2022
Once opened, the jar should be stored airtight in your refrigerator for up to 10 days. If it will not be consumed in 7 to 10 days, store in the freezer.

How many frozen cubes will this make??

Answer by ChewyJul 07, 2020
This 12-ounce jar has approximately 24 tablespoons and can make about 48 servings (if wanting to freeze).

what is the expiration date on this product?

Answer by ChewyJun 26, 2020
Once opened, store jar foods airtight in your refrigerator. They will store refrigerated for approximately 7-10 days. Freeze jar if it will not be finished in 7-10 days. We recommend scooping ½ tbsp servings of HPW into an ice tray or onto wax paper before freezing, for easy serving. Will last for up to 6 months in a freezer after opening. Unopened jars can be stored up to 1 year.

I have two sugar gliders who LOVE this HPW!! If I try to give them anything else they will completely ignore it. I give them this alongside fruits and veggies, acacia gum, their vitamins/minerals, and insectivore dry food (from our vet) on the side. This food makes their fur so healthy and smooth and they chirp so happily whenever they eat it! Overall I’d recommend this to any glider parent who doesn’t want to or doesn’t have time to prepare their own HPW from scratch. We order two jars ever month and it’s perfect for us. Thanks for making this available chewy!!

I want to Thank Chewy, first of all, for adding more items for gliders, Much Appreciated. I wanted to try something new for my gliders, in case of an emergency, where I would have their food ready and not have to go through the fridge & freezer. 1st night of food I wanted to make sure they were hungry to eat so no treats that day or food during day after 7 am. Put suggested amount of food in 3 cages for not 1 or 2 but 8 gliders at 7 pm. I also put other exotic nutrition foods I bought for them. At 3 am not 1 had tried their foods. They sniffed and walked away. So bribed them and put honey on it. They didn't even lick the honey off of it. I was shocked! 6 am rolls around, food untouched and they are trying to reach through the bottom grate for some food left over from night before that dropped down. They were hungry and not eating it. I couldn't let them go hungry so fed them their regular OHPW, fruits n veggies and they wolfed it down. I tried again 2nd night with what was left in jars. Same result. I am sorry to say that out of 8 gliders, not 1 would eat it. It may work for others, but did not work for mine.
