Can these be used for a ferret?

This scarf is designed for sugar gliders, hedgehogs, prairie dogs, chinchillas, squirrels, rats, degus, hamsters/gerbils, and other small pets. The inner pouch measures 16 inches long x 8 inches wide.

Do you have any idea how many sugar gliders could be comfortably carried in this?

It is recommended to only carry one sugar glider at a time.

What is the grommet diameter?

The diameter for the grommets (referred to as the air holes) is 0.6 inches.

Can a hamster chew through the material? I bought a hideaway for my Mocha and she chewed a hole in it. I don’t want to buy this if she can chew through the scarf and escape.

This scarf's durable construction helps ensure pet's safety, comfort, and security. However, it is not chew-proof. Always supervise pets during use, do not leave pet unattended inside the scarf. Be sure to let your pet out periodically to access food and water. Wipe product clean with a damp cloth or machine-wash as needed. Wash on gentle cycle with cold water then air dry. Regularly inspect for other hazards. Continual use and pet chewing may cause the product to become warn over time. To avoid injury to your pet, discard and replace when you see signs of excessive wear.

I was skeptical I needed this, but this was perfect for bonding with my rats and I wish I had got one sooner. I think they've moved on from it a bit now, but they still will go to the scarf as a safe place during free roam, and when they were more skittish and include to bunker down and hide somewhere, this was the perfect way to let them spend time with me while also letting them have a safe pocket of their own. I will say to not make the same mistake I did and leave this on top of the cage - they chewed a hole into it and now I have to be careful they don't start tunnelling through the scarf (has happened more than once). Also glad mine ended up coming in black - I think some of these patterns are ugly lol

Perfect for multiple species!

I use this for both my hamster and mice and they all do super well with. It's adorable when they stick their noses out the holes.

I have taken both my rats on long walks in this and they have been happy to sit in the pouch and sniff the world. Also decent for stealth, probably no one would

I have taken both my rats on long walks in this and they have been happy to sit in the pouch and sniff the world. Also decent for stealth, probably no one would notice there are animals in there. Machine washable. Minus one star because I expected the internal pouch to go all the way around, but it's limited to just the zipper area.

Not for hamsters.

My hamster chewed through the inner pocket 2nd use and almost got stuck. Luckily he found his way out but i cant use it anymore since he knows he can chew through

I was so happy to find this and at a good price, bigger than I thought (was worried it would be small/tight) its totally roomy and fits big on me as a shorter female

Purchased this to bond with my new guinea pigs and I love it. You can pretty much wear it around your house or on the couch with your guinea pig and they feel very safe. The only downside is if they pee it kinda goes through so you'll need a towel or pee pad :)
