Is this good for a baby squirrel
Answer by ChewySep 13, 2021
The Exotic Nutrition Squirrel Food Starter Kit is suitable for squirrels that are 7 weeks or older. Squirrels should be eating solid foods (no milk supplements) at 12 weeks of age. Squirrels younger than that should be fed a milk replacer supplement.

I have a round tailed ground squirrel that can't be released. Will this be good d for him? Or can you recommend a food that will? Ty

Disappointed

The two red squirrels that I bought this kit for are not eating any of the mix or rodent blocks. There are too many pumpkin seeds in the Complete Mix and not enough variety of other foods. I haven't tried the vegetable mix yet because they have refused all the fresh vegetables I have served them so far. They pick at the yummy balls but they don't seem to really like them either. Unfortunately, I won't buy this starter kit again.

Great Purchase!

So happy I purchased this. I set out some of the rodent blocks with the food mix, as well as a corncob and assorted shelled nuts for the squirrels. I occasionally add in the treat mix and treat balls as well and they are all a hit. I sprinkle the multivitamin over the food when I put it out, not sure how much of it they are getting but I do use it. Such a great value for all that you get, plus the squirrels are happy. I’d recommend for anyone looking to give some variety to the squirrels in their yard!
