Unfortunate split

We hung the house outside and 3 days in, after a rain and sun (75F), it split around the entrance hole. It's still functional, but just disappointed and curious

Great box, but it’s just the box

This is a great nesting box and just was I was looking for. Unfortunately, it did not come with hardware to mount to the tree, nor instructions for best practices

This is a great nesting box and just was I was looking for. Unfortunately, it did not come with hardware to mount to the tree, nor instructions for best practices in putting it into use in the yard (placement, how to mount, etc). Otherwise, it’s great!

Well built, true to picture

Squirrels seem to love it... only thing I'd recommend is something on sides, as they can't climb sides because too slippery, wood is a smooth finish. Beautifully

Came broken and got worse…

Was excited for this but sadly it came broken and after a night of rain the wood expanded in a way that it’s no longer functional as it doesn’t close. First item

Was excited for this but sadly it came broken and after a night of rain the wood expanded in a way that it’s no longer functional as it doesn’t close. First item from Chewy that I wouldn’t recommend! It’s possible if the latch didn’t come broken the wood wouldn’t have expanded this way but I’ll never know

I was chosen by a wildlife rehabilitation organization to have a soft release of three (rarer) baby squirrels so I bought this house. But all three were "gone" within

I was chosen by a wildlife rehabilitation organization to have a soft release of three (rarer) baby squirrels so I bought this house. But all three were "gone" within one day. Very sad. But Chewy made this have a happier ending as they refunded this well made "hideout" and I donated it to the wildlife rehabilitation organization. THIS IS WHY I SHOP CHEWY: THEY CARE!!!!
