will these pebbles have any affect to water conditions in a brackish water turtle tank? 55 gal tank, 1 diamondback terrapin
Answer by ChewyJan 12, 2022
For aquarium use, Exotic Pebbles non-polished gravels and bean-size aggregates are recommended.

my red eared slider has a habit of eating her rocks.. I want to stop this but I don't want to use sand for cleaning reasons... Are these big enough she will not be able to swallow them

My tank is a 78ish gallon tank, 48 inches wide and 18 inches depth. How much bags of the 20lbs would I probably need? Please answer quick
Answer by ChewyMay 03, 2020
Determining how much gravel/substrate to buy for your new aquarium depends on the size and shape of your tank, as well as the depth of the substrate bed you wish to achieve. We suggest 1 pound of substrate per gallon, to achieve a 1 inch bed or 2 pounds per gallon, for a 2 inch deep bed.

Looking for rocks to put on top of the dirt for plants in a chameleon enclosure, anybody know if these will be big enough so they don't accidentally swallow with food.

love love love!!

i loveeee these rocks in my turtle tank! big enough so my red eared slider can’t swallow, they contrast so nicely with his shell color and they add such a lovely natural addition to his tank! definitely worth the price, i used two bags in a 30 gallon tank and you can see the thickness. just make sure you rinse first (which is easy with the little drainage holes already in the side of the bag) these rocks also offer a great alternative for aeration for my plants roots

BEAUTIFUL Jade Stones!!

I was honestly taken aback by how GREEN and beautiful these jade stones were! Gorgeous for aquariums or aquascaping. Once in the water they gave the water a beautiful blue/green ambiance. Now my turtle is a lucky turtle. :)

Perfect stones

I bought these for my turtle tank. They're not really pebble size. But I knew that from the reviews. They have worked perfect in his tank. He can move around easier and they keep debris at the bottom. It is easy to move them around and clean with a vacuum. I fif not have the "oil" issue I read in some other reviews. I would recommend them. One 20lb bag was enough for my tank.

Beautiful Rocks

These rocks are absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend. I put them in my fish tank with a mix of the other 2 jade rock sizes in my 200 gallon aquarium. I love them.

Beautiful Rocks

So these are pretty big to be defined as pebbles imo, a turtle definitely can not swallow these. I have a baby turtle and its hard for him to crawl up them but he likes them and can push them around, which he absolutely loves doing

Lovely ambiance

These pebbles really added to the ambiance of my tank. The colors are lovely and not garish. My humans find them much more reusable because of their size. They are more like small rocks. They clean up well and are easy to move when vacuuming. You need a pound per gallon that is an accurate estimate. They arrived quick to my humans tank and made her happy.
