These aquarium rock look absolutely beautiful in my sons 45 gallon aquarium. Impressive
This is really great gravel. The colors are great, perfect if you want a natural riverbed look. Well-polished and good medium-size grains. I rinsed them before putting them in the aquarium and the water ran totally clean, not dusty at all, the rinse wasn't really even necessary. They cover the bottom of a 20 gal tank perfectly. Very happy.
These stones are beautiful! Perfect size for my cichlid tank. These are technically considered landscaping stones so rinse rinse rinse before putting them into your tank. Rule of thumb is to rinse in hot water until you have 2-3 water dumps of completely clear water then allow to cool before putting them in your tank. I purchased 3 bags for my 125 gallon tank. I’m still on the fence about purchasing 1-2 more bags, but don’t think it’s completely necessary due to the amount of stacked stones we have in our tank. Each bag needed roughly 20 rinse sessions with SUPER hot water to get the oil, dirt, and other deposits off of the stones. Stones should always be rinsed before putting into a fish tank, these did need more than a normal bag, but way worth the extra work for the price and quality of the stone. All in all, these are perfect with a great price to match.
Great coloring. Not waxy as some have said. I’m using to give top of flower pots more eye appeal and help hold moisture. I also got the jade colored rocks too.
I saw a few reviews mentioning wax and oil. I figured it was still worth the try, and that maybe washing them long enough would get rid of the residue. I was so wrong. Every single thing that touched these rocks are now covered in a brown wax. The bowls I washed them in, the pot they were boiled in, my fish net, my tank, the dresser, me. It’s a shame. They look very nice, but unfortunately I’ve had to resort to using chemicals in my (now empty) tank. Heed the one star reviews. Find something else.
The right size "pebbles" for turtle tank. The labeling is all wrong on these type of items. They call the other bag of the same brand "pebbles" when those were more like stones and called this bag "gravel" when these are more like pebbles. Get It together substrate guys! I had to reorder because the description was all wrong.
The pebbles are a great look but after washing them I put them in my tank filled it with water and noticed wax floating, need another bag and ordered it and then realized while washing the stones the wax was coming off of them. Had to drain my tank and rewatch the stones repeatedly
Clean washed and nice finish on these pebbles. Very nice
The stones are nice and great for the price. I couldn't find anything like this big bag for the price anywhere else. Just be aware that the stones are not pebbles like I expected. They are bigger than I anticipated and they didn't work quite right for the purpose I was intending.
Fully coated with wax very disappointing..i gave one star because it looks attractive.. I boiled in water for about 30min even though the wax was not removed water color totally changed and water became very oily( water smells odd)..buy at your own risk.
