Can these be used in an aquarium?

These pebbles are not recommended for aquariums and fish habitats. For aquarium use, Exotic Pebbles washed gravels and bean-size aggregates are recommended.

How good for turtle

These pebbles are best suitable for aquatic turtles, lizards and tortoises.

Will these rocks affect the PH in my freshwater tank?

The polished pebbles will not alter the PH level but the paraffin wax will come off the pebbles over time and leave a film on the top of the surface.

Would it be perfect if i bought one for a 10 gallon tank ?

These pebbles measure approximately 1/2 inch to 1 inch in length. Each bag of pebbles covers 1.2 square feet to 2 inches in depth. We recommend measuring the dimensions of the surface area to ensure the appropriate amount of pebbles.

The VERY Best Pebbles

I've been searching for just the right pebbles and have ordered from the big box home stores, as well as specialty landscape stores. Everything was usable - but

I've been searching for just the right pebbles and have ordered from the big box home stores, as well as specialty landscape stores. Everything was usable - but not quite what I wanted. These rocks exceeded my expectations. They are beautiful. I've taken some pictures that I took when they arrived. Outside in the sunshine - just slit open the bag and photographed. Absolutely gorgeous. Nice assortment of sizes and beautiful assortment of colors. Some of the stones are "jewelry worthy" for those enjoying an earthy, natural look in jewelry. I'll be using these in some of my plants to enhance appearance and retain moisture. Just delighted to have found these.

Size as described

I was expecting tumbled, polished rocks, but they weren't "polished". Just dull river rock.

Not what I expected

Sm. Bag Landscape rock not suitable for my 15 gallon gold fish tank. Not raw dirty but not at all polished. I put them in and my fish 6 years old is not acting well

Sm. Bag Landscape rock not suitable for my 15 gallon gold fish tank. Not raw dirty but not at all polished. I put them in and my fish 6 years old is not acting well and tank fogged up quickly. I need to break down and clean again which will stress fish again. Not happy. I wish I had not put in my tank.
