It’s easy to keep your dog’s identification tags up to date with the EZ Change Dog I.D. Clip. While traditional clips or D-rings make it difficult to get the tags on and off, this innovative design changes everything—no more broken nails or pinched fingers! Instead, the tags easily attach to the clip with the sturdy clasp, which then attaches to the collar. The clips can be easily moved from collar to collar when it’s time for a wardrobe update, or they simply make it easy to switch out your dog’s tags with up-to-date info. Whether you moved or he got a new rabies tags, you no longer have to dread changing the tags!
Identification tag clip makes it easy to attach “if lost” and vaccination ID tags to your dog’s collar.
Built-in clasp eliminates broken nails and pinched fingers, and easily attaches to the collar D-ring.
Allows you to quickly change tags from collar to collar, or switch out old tags with new info.
Sturdy design keeps tags secure, and the nickel material will not rust.
Comes in a set of two so it’s great for multi-dog households or dogs with multiple collars.
Trying to get my husband to realize how much better a harness is to walk the dog, I’m often swapping out the collar for the harness. You just mash down on the bridge & this easily opens then closes. It also came w rubber washers to silence the metal tags from jingling too much if that bothers you or your pet. I give 4 stars only because our dog (15 lbs) wiggled out of her collar (not loose!) and managed to lose her set of tags at the same time. We have NO idea HOW, Bc it takes human pressure to open it. Luckily, we had a brand new Chewy dog tag with our address & phone number & within an hour someone called to say they found them.

Much easier to use than the standard ring that comes with ID tags. Plus can easily move from “fancy” (clean) collar to “play” collar (for rolling in mud) or easy to put on harness. I’ve had the same ones for about 2 years now, they are wearing better than the ID tags. The ones I got came with a little silicone circle to dampen sound of tags clanking together, which was a nice bonus. They are still a little hard to open, but that’s good, right? Much easier than the spiral circle things that split my nails plus I’m not strong enough to get them wide open enough for dog collar. If cats need new tags, will use for cats next time too. Glad they’re made in OH.
Does the Job

Does what they’re supposed to do! They hold the tags on well (be sure you have a ring on your tags already). It can be a little hard to finagle them open to change collars, but they need to be sturdy to keep the tags on! Much better than sliding a fingernail in between a regular little ring and pulling it open. I like the size and length, which makes it usable for my short Scotties, unlike similar products which can be too long... then the tags drag on the ground.
I love the two pack and the included rubber silencers, though the silencers didn’t really do much for my dogs, haha. Great product!
Great concept but not quite there

I ordered this along with an ID tag for my new puppy I thought it would be perfect since I would be switching from a collar to a harness quite often while training her this way I can switch her ID tag to whatever I was using however The ring is too fat to go through the hole in her ID tag I haven’t tried it with any other tags but it does seem a bit fat compared to a normal split ring that you get with the tag. The tag I bought was also from chewy it was the flower tag. I got the small puppy version that might’ve been the reason but I would think the hole to put the ring in will be about the same size like I said great concept but not 100% there if you have a smaller tag
A little small for my fingers.

These are a great idea especially since we have 2 harnesses we use on a regular basis and sometimes use a 3rd. The clip is sturdier and more secure than I thought it would be. My only con is that I have to struggle to open it since my fingers don't work well these days. I would love to get these a bit larger.
There are also silencers in the box

The pictures don’t show it.
But they are good only for silence between tags and they wouldn’t prevent the noise when the tags are hitting the bowl while eating.
( I ordered different silencer.)
Anyway I bought these clips for getting a small and easily removable attachment for the rabies tag to the collar ring.
They are difficult to put on and off.
And difficult to get them through the whole in the tag. My nails suffered.
Would not recommend

Not a very good clip at all. The clip doesn’t even go back far enough to get it over a ring it’s too small to put the tag on it so when I try to take the tag off of the first little part of it broke. Cheaply made
Fewer broken fingernails

I've always hated dealing with those circular metal things that connect tags to a collar. Either they're so flimsy that they never completely close again once you get them onto the collar ring or they're so sturdy that you need two people, a screwdriver and a lot of patience to open them up. These clips fixed that. Simple, fast and easy.
More difficult to use than I thought

The concept of the I.D. Clip is great. However, when I attempted to remove the tags from the collar to put on Laika's harness, the clip broke. The clip is very small (about .5"). Getting the tags on the clip and then on the O-ring on the collar was simple enough, but I couldn't get the tags back off when I needed to.

I always struggle trying to put a tag on our dog’s collar, usually to the point I think my fingernail will snap off. I hate to be corny, but this really was “EZ.” It snapped on in just one click.
