Is the extender itself made of a stretchy-bungy material? Or is this portion normal rope, with the original leash providing the bungy? Wondering as it's relevant for how useful it is as a training tab.

It’s made from the same shock-absorbing bungee as the Cujo leash.

can this extension also be used with the 0 shock leash?

This leash extension is compatible with the EzyDog Cujo Shock Absorbing Dog Leash.

I use a halti leash that can be used cross body for hands free. the only problem is that it becomes too short when used cross body as I am 6'6". could this extension be used with my halti leash to give the extra leash length I need for cross body?

This extension is intended to add more length to the current leash by easily clipping onto the end.

Could I use this as a hands free leash? I'm training my dog to be my service dog and would like a hands free leash that I can easily clip and unclip. Could I use it like that or would I need something else?

Leash extenders are a necessity!

When you’ve got a puppy or an excited chewer, the leash extender is the way to go, especially since we love our retractable leashes. I won’t use a retractable leash

Perfect for Chewers

When our boy gets impatient, which is often, he turns around and tries to bite through his leash. At one point we lost three leashes in two weeks. It got to be just

When our boy gets impatient, which is often, he turns around and tries to bite through his leash. At one point we lost three leashes in two weeks. It got to be just unacceptable. This extension is absolutely perfect. Now, when he turns around to bite, he immediately stops. I don't know if it's the shape or something else but I've only seen him try to bite it once and he was unsuccessful. This is a great product for leash chewers.

Why didnt I buy this sooner?

Works great. Nice rubber handle. Excellent for dogs that pull or quickly run all of a sudden.

Great for dual leashes

I have 3 dogs and when I walk them, two are on a dual leash .. the extender gives them extra room to go in their own direction. Very glad I ordered these.

Not bungee

Because it stated it was made of bungee material I thought it would be easier when the dog ran out the length of the leash and stopped suddenly it would lessen the

Because it stated it was made of bungee material I thought it would be easier when the dog ran out the length of the leash and stopped suddenly it would lessen the pull on your arm. What it is good for if your dog is a chewer they won't be able to chew this material. So not good as shock absorber but it is good to prevent the dog from chewing especially a retractable leash.
