Constellation Sunshine Will Not Go Near the Chair

Bought this because it was so cute but our cat will not go near it. She won't climb into it or scratch the hemp. We bought a giraffe cat tree not all that long

Bought this because it was so cute but our cat will not go near it. She won't climb into it or scratch the hemp. We bought a giraffe cat tree not all that long ago and at that time we had three cats. Not one cat would climb into the adorable bed or scratch on the giraffe's legs. I have come to the conclusion that it is not safe to buy any of the items made with compressed wood, plasticized fake wicker or hemp. Cats are all about smell and there must be noxious odors coming from these materials. BTW, I gave the giraffe to two different friends with cats and not one cat would go near it. I think I have finally learned my lesson and will stay away from items with foreign manufacturers.

Looks as pictured. The surface of the chair is kind of a hammock style so it is flexible. I'm not sure how good it will be for scratching but my cat is enjoying

Cat love this lounge chair

One of my cats was instantly in love with this! He started laying on it right away. I have it placed in an area that gets afternoon sun which just adds to the joy
