My two love these Bully Sticks. They're just the right size to be a treat and they finish them in one sitting. Bigger one were always left to be finished later, usually by whomever was faster.
My small gal loves her chewies. She has a tiny jaw and mouth so these are perfect for her. I've had no problems with these odor wise. These are mostly for small breeds and some small breed puppies. I always supervise her when she eats them and she's never had tummy troubles. If they break etc, the one she's eating goes in the trash, but I've never had a problem with that or shattering. Just supervise your kiddo. I take hers away when there's 1 or 2 inches left for safety.
These are okay. They seem fresh enough, odorless enough and the dogs love them. But there are two things different from other brands that I have ordered. These are really crunchy, and a dog with powerful jaws can bust them up pretty quickly. So depending on your dog, these may not provide a very long lasting treat. Secondly, these were far from uniform. Some were flat, some were thin, and some seemed damaged. Again, the dogs liked them fine but I will probably go back to a different brand.
I bought my (4 mth lab mix) puppy a bully ring from our local store and she loved it so much, I wanted to get her a pack. The ring from the pet store took her about a week to get through (with us taking it away in moderation). However, these mini sticks she chewed through instanteously. Maybe 3 minutes or less. She's isn't an aggressive chewer, either. I'm a little disappointed they're more like a snack. If you have a mini breed, they may be good. But for my pups, it was a waste. I will give three stars however because they fairly oder-free.
These seem to be lower quality than other bully stick brands... My lab rot mix was able to break these into chunks and swallow the chunks within a few seconds. Normally with other bully sticks he can chew them for a while and they become chewy and malleable over time. He also threw up everything a few minutes after eating these. Not made for a medium or strong chewer as they can break/splinter easily! Please be careful when giving to your pet.
I bought these for my small dog that likes to chew. Right away I could tell something was off. The sticks I received were long, thin, and brittle, and certainly not “mini”. I gave one to my dog and when they bit into it, it shattered into three sharp pieces. Huge red flag. I watched very closely as those pieces were easily chomped into even smaller, sharper, slivers and took them away. These are more like tripe sticks or pizzle sticks. They are NOT bully sticks, they are not mini, and they are not safe to give your dog if they are a chewer. A waste of money if you’re looking for actual bully sticks.
My little 6lbs Maltese could easily hold the stick and no need to cut in half. He is not a biter at all and finishes each stick very slowly. Usually it took him over 2 weeks to finish one stick (or get tired of it) lol. The stick perfectly serves my purpose to find a long-lasting chews that he may think of when he’s boring. He likes the stick more than chicken/ duck feet, or other rawhide bones. He likes the chew chicken jerky more — chicken jerks finish quicker than this as well. I will buy this product again if he still likes it after the whole pack.
My 8lb yorkie loves these bully sticks! While they sure do stink all bully sticks do, they seem to taste good to Moki. They’re small but last all day for a small pup.
They are to big for callijo..an very hard to cut into...these would be great for a big dog
Nice size and reasonable price. Little to no odor. I bought the longer sticks for my 45 pound hound mix they keep her busy for at least a couple hours.
