I was looking to switch up the bully sticks that I often give the dogs to wind down. I fed these to the dogs maybe around 5pm. They went out multiple times between then and 10:30 when we went to sleep. One of my dogs came to wake me up around 1 or 2 AM but I thought she was concerned about the music I had on to sleep and didn’t let her out again. I went downstairs at 7:30 and noticed she didn’t want to follow me, hanging back on the stairs, and then I smelled it. Oof. Cleaned that up, let the dogs outside for a bit and then fed them breakfast before going back upstairs for another nap (don’t judge, it’s been a rainy weekend). Came back downstairs a couple hours later and it was deja vu all over again. Maybe from the other dog, maybe from the same dog. Either way from the looks of the mess and the fact that these dogs never soil the house I strongly suspect that these stuffed gullets were the culprit. And now I’ve still got a giant bag of these that I don’t know what to do with. I don’t want to try again.
