Every Farmina food is made with the best ingredients with the correct amounts of protein, fats, limited carbohydrates and advanced long life vitamins and minerals. The Natural & Delicious Grain-Free formulas are comprised of 70% animal ingredients (pre-cooking weight) and 30% vegetables, fruits, vitamins and minerals. These diets are also quite different from competing foods because they use better quality protein sources that are devoid of bone, so ash is as low as 7.80% and calcium and phosphorous levels are controlled.

I’ve been struggling to find my Norwegian forest cat mix a kibble that she not only likes but is able to eat because she has a very tiny jaw and needs small pieces. This is a bit larger than normal but I think it’s kind of soft so it’s easier for her to chew. She absolutely loves it and begs for it. I wish it was less expensive.
My cat throws up a few times a week, and all vet work ups are good. Decided maybe she needed a new food to try. Started the mix exactly as Instructed with only 25% being this new food. After eating it for breakfast and dinner she was crying so much with belly pain like I have never heard. She even cried in the litter box and it was ridiculously malodorous. Not the food for my Sammy.
Every cat I've ever had has LOVED this dry food. They like other flavors in the brand (Chicken & Pomegranate, Wild Boar & Apple) but they love the Lamb and Blueberry.
my usually finicky Hugh DOVE into this food without hesitation. One sniff and he was gobbling away. He loves lamb, and this is one of, if not, the only brand(s) that offers lamb option. A bit pricey, but well worth seeing my boy eat well.
I was feeding Essence to my cats but since there are now supply chain issues with that brand we were on the hunt for something new. This made both of my cats ill. I was mixing in like 1/16th of a cup with my cats meals of the old brand and both got sick. One poo'd bright red blood and the other got really bad diarrhea. Bloodbutt Kitty has gotten better immediately since stopping the Farmina but my other boy is STILL trying to recover. He's not had much of an appetite ever since he first started having issues and the diarrhea continued, at this rate I'm gonna have to take him to the vet tomorrow (Monday). They were both totally fine before trying this new food. They had only small amounts mixed into their existing food for 3 days, twice a day. I had also switched my dog to Farmina (also from Essence) and he's been okay so far but now I'm leery of buying it for him again. I returned this bag to my local pet store as soon as I realized it was making my boys sick.
I just received this today, and after I open it, I’m shocked. I bought 3 bags of different flavors, and all of them are wet and sticky. Not sure it’s too oily or just wet. And two of the packages came from Chinese agents.(I’m not saying the Chinese agents are bad, but it just seems unusual) Really disappointing. I don’t think I will feed these to my kitties.
I switched to grain free cat food after hearing of all the health issues caused by feeding pets grains. I've tried several brands and settled on Farmina because it was my cats favorite. I have five cats and they each like different flavors. I buy the Duck, chicken and lamb currently. There is no powdery dust in the bottom of the bags. My cats seem to fill up faster on this brand and are eating less.
I give my 3 cats this product as treats twice a day. They love it
This is the only dry food I feed my cats. They don't eat much dry but the ingredients are good compared to others.
They cry for this! I feed dry only as a treat and this is by far the favorite.
