Farmina N&D Lamb & Blueberry is not an Italian formula it’s from Serbia

Authorities in another county enacted a ban on Farmina pet foods made in Serbia due to ARSENIC found in pet foods produced at the companies plant in Serbia leading

Authorities in another county enacted a ban on Farmina pet foods made in Serbia due to ARSENIC found in pet foods produced at the companies plant in Serbia leading to the ban January 2024. The Lamb & Blueberry used to be made in Italy. Why does the bag show Serbia code’s expiration date but in the front state it’s Italy. Chewy info also says this formula is Italian made. It is not. According to what I read the arsenic was repeatedly detected in food batches made in Serbia. Farmina never issued a formal recall. Beware it’s still sold in the USA and elsewhere. The food also looks different in color and size. After my cats recent sickness weight loss vomiting and diahrrea. I took him to the vet. I was unaware of the arsenic. I will never buy Farmina again. I hope chewy will look into this and not sell the products. I feel like I’ve been deceived. My cat is a Bengal who has never had a sick day until now. I’m glad I figured it out. Farmina is a big no. I wish I’d read some reviews here but was purchasing directly from Farmina.

My male cat gained weight on this and was always wanting more

After being on Farmina n&d for about 2 years , my 4 year old cat started crying for food all the time and gained just over a pound in 6 months. We did full panel

After being on Farmina n&d for about 2 years , my 4 year old cat started crying for food all the time and gained just over a pound in 6 months. We did full panel blood work and all was normal. I switched food and he no longer craves or cries for more food. He has lost the weight he gained. Maybe the food was changed as it does seem like it was the food. He is now on Rawz food.

As a retired cat breeder of forty years, I know what different brands of kibble do to cats' appearance and health. I've been using Farmina Prime for a few years now. That's about the only food my cats get. They look gorgeous, and are very healthy. Not only that, but Farmina doesn't change their formula, as so many brands do after a while. It started out great, and it stays great.

My finicky cats love this!

My three cats who are very particular with the wet food (each one prefers different) one likes canned only, one eats freeze dried raw only, and one likes combo raw

But all three love this kibble. I’ve tried other premium brands but they don’t consume it with gusto like they do with N&D. Lamb and blueberry is their favorite.
