Unless your Veterinarian has told you otherwise, when switching your pet to a Farmina diet from a different food, we suggest making the transition over 10 Days. From days 1 to 3 we recommend feeding 75% of the old food and 25% of the new food. From days 4 to 6 feed 50% old and 50% new. From days 7 to 9 feed 25% old and 75% new. Finally, on day 10 you can start exclusively feeding the new food.

Best wet cat food on the market
This cat food is the next best thing to making a raw blend at home which is why I love it. It's worth every penny since I'm not having to formulate a raw diet for my cats, and they all love it. There are no preservatives in this cat food. If you read about the company's process, they actually preserve the food through the old fashion canning process. I read someone commented on another review that it looked gross. Well it is RAW so that is probably why...plus, I've never seen any wet cat food that doesn't look gross. If you want the next best thing to a raw diet for cat, then this brand is it. I just wish Chewy carried more of Farmina's products. Guess it's not "mainstream" enough.
