good saddle pad!
Nice saddle pad over all, good size. Quality isn’t great but that was expected because of price. The only real complaint I have is that the color I received is very different from the color I ordered. I ordered a sort of cornflower blue color but got lavender. Just be careful when choosing colors. (Color is more purple in person)
New Formula NOT Recommended for Dogs
New Super 14 formula (Per Farnam customer service) not recommended for Dogs, even though Farnam website says dog friendly. Hopefully website gets corrected soon. May be great for horses- just a warning to dog people that have used the old formula. Hope Chewy will allow me to return.
Great product!
This product (with the changes) works wonders on our QH mare who typically has a dull, long hair coat. We've been using Super 14 for years and I see the same great results this past year.
Why did they mess with a good thing?
This new formula is terrible. I have used Super-14 for years. I no longer will be purchasing this product. Change is not always for the better.
This is the best horse coat conditioner!

Awful with the formula change
The new formula is terrible! It smells horrid! I have used this for my dogs for years, maybe decades. It was recommended for dogs on the label, but dog use is no longer on the label. I just don’t understand why you would change something that works. Had to toss in the trash. Full of very questionable new additives too.
Farnum Super 14
I have been using Super 14 several years for my dog with beautiful results. I ordered a new container last week and it does not indicate for use with dogs or cats any more - no weight or feeding measurements listed for dogs or cats either. I am afraid to use it now and will give it to a local stable.
Super 14 new formula is nasty
Yes Farman should have left it alone. I’ve used the power for years on my horse and dogs. It worked and they loved it. The new stuff smells and would not use it for my dogs. Why can’t they leave a good thing alone?
Formula change
If you use this on your dogs for coat I wouldn’t recommend any longer. New formula has more soybean and more ingredients than the old. Farnam should have left the decade old formula alone
