My cat likes playing with twist ties, hair ties, and everything similar to that. Saw these and decided to try them with him... He LOVES these more than twist ties even! He's a kitty who loves playing fetch and he'll bring me a toy if he wants to play. He's been bringing these toys to me for me to throw. His birthday is coming up and I'm gonna have so much more of these for him!
I thought this would be a perfect toy for my cats. They love scooting stuff around the floor. These are lightweight and easy to push around the floor. My cats have no interest in these rings. Even when I slide them around the floor playing with the cats. Just not their choice of toy. Good concept, decent quality.
Love finding a new toy that engages my 2 year old tuxedo brothers. We actually have to hide them at night, otherwise they scoot them across the hardwood floors for hours when we are trying to sleep. They chomp them (but no damage) and toss them and bat them all other the house and into closets. Best toy!
My cat loved to play with the plastic ring of a milk jug but it seemed dangerous. I found these and he loves them. They are bigger and less likely to be hazardous to him. I just bought him 3 sets. I have once a week toy round up as they do get batted under things as he goes through out the house. He loves them!
My cat loves playing fetch. These toys work well for that. However, this product is literally 4 thin pieces of shaped plastic. Think the circular strip of plastic you remove to free the cap on a gallon jug of water. That. But in color instead of white or clear. Charging any more than $2 or $3 for this is absurd. As I said, my kitty likes them- but he likes the plastic seal from jugs of water too- and we will stick with those unless this price comes down.
I do not feel this is a safe toy at all. It might seem innocent and harmless at first blush but in reality a cat can bite on this from the side and the raised edges can dig into the roof of kitties mouth causing serious pain. A simple, safer substitute is to use the plastic ring from a gal milk container or even the milk cap itself. Serves the same purpose but with a much reduced risk factor. Plus, it's free.
We always used the thin plastic you remove from milk jugs for our cat to play with but this is so much better. She wants to play fetch all the time now. The shape of this toy and weight make it very easy for her to pick up in her mouth. My other cat likes to batt it around. Great design, so simply but so much fun!
I was very happy with the toys at first because my cat would chase around them all over the place, but I would always supervise her play session with these because the material does look cheap. Today she finally went ahead and bit off part of a ring and ALMOST SWALLOWED the plastic! We had to force open her mouth to make her spit the piece out. I’m not going to let her play with this toy again as it is plastic and easy to break and swallow.
I got these on a whim since he is ALWAYS trying to steal hair ties. He ABSOLUTELY LOVES these! He will toss it in the air and run all around the house with it in his mouth. Love it so much that I'll be ordering more next shipment!
I thot LilBit would fetch these lightweight whatever they are, but nope. She has NO interest in them, so back to rigid hair ties for me.
