Pros: * Gets photos of Birds and anything that activates the motion camera *Can download photos or videos to your phone * Several options for hanging the feeder, hook for hanging and a bracket for screwing to post Cons: * Have to download FeatherSnap App *For Many special features you must pay a subscription: Bird Photo Book in app., to delete photos , AI bird recognition, ect. & that pay subscription page always pops up on app and takes the whole page… *. The directions are a little scattered and if you follow directions exactly, you will have to assemble and disassemble several times to get everything the way it’s supposed to be. Still it’s not too hard to assemble, but directions could be adjusted for ease of assembly.

I found the feeder not to be very “pretty”. It’s very unappealing looking. I have many hummingbird feeders that are stylish and add charm to my garden. This doesn’t not have that appeal. However, my hummingbirds were attracted to the feeder and used. The camera did take good photos which surprised me! However to see videos and bird identification you need to purchase the app. Without app the feeder has minimal options. Also, most frustrating was how much the feeder leaked. I adjusted feeder with no luck. I also contacted costumer service. They did respond quickly with suggestions however it still leaked. Overall, they feeder is a good gift idea but for someone willing to pay for app.

We assemble the hummingbird feeder THEN downloaded the app. & then had to take it “apart” again. Nothing major & you’ll need to know how to do it when you clean he feeder. Assembly and disassembly is easy. Has good WiFi signal. App seems to work fine, however you can purchase a subscription, I did not. Solar powering does work. I have noticed that the sensor at times will pick up people/cars that are in the view as well.

The Camera in the product would not seat well and kept falling out, also the water tank leaked. Everything is hidden behind a paid for subscription wall. When I contacted Customer the representative was aware of the problem and told me to just jiggle it around. A few days later the company asked me in an email how I like the feeder. When I explained the problems, including the newly identified one that you could not delete a picture , they offered me one month free with a paid subscription and a replacement reservoir claiming they were aware of the reservoir issue. They also confirmed in this email that in order to edit anything you needed a paid subscription . I decline.

I like the idea and the quality is very nice, it can well packaged and the instructions made it easy to assemble. I was surprised at the small amount of nectar it holds but realized that’s actually for the better when it comes to what all needs to be cleaned. So for all of the above it would be a 5 star review. I gave it three due to the app technology. Connecting to WiFi was simple and only took one try which I believe is rare with newer products. My biggest gripe would be I cannot figure out how to change the sensitivity of the camera, therefore it’s taking a lot of pictures which just movement from wind and other objects moving in the background. Maybe with the paid subscription plan you get more options for customizing the settings but with the free features I couldn’t change that. All in all it’s a great product and can be a lot of fun I haven’t had a hummer visit yet but it’s also not the right season here. A few more months and I should have some action. Very excited for the HD photos up close and personal!

We have been casual bird watchers for a while now, putting out hummingbird feeders seasonally, and trying to take cell phone pictures of our visitors. This Smart Feeder is so much fun and makes viewing hummingbirds so easy. It would be a great gift for anyone. The feeder itself is quite large and holds 1 liter of nectar. There are several ways you can use this: strapping it to a tree or post using the metal bracket, or hanging it. You could also set it directly on an outdoor table as it is sturdy and seems pretty stable. There is an ant moat included as well as all the hardware you would need. Setting up the app is easy -- just scan the QR code to get the app, connect to your home WiFi, then scan the QR code on the feeder to connect it. The feeder does need to be pretty close to our house to connect to the WiFi consistently, so that has limited where we can put it. I think we would attract more birds if it wasn't so close to the house, but we have been getting good images of hummingbirds, right from day 1. The solar charging feature is working very well. The app will tell you how much power remains in case you need to bring it in for charging. At the end of the first day, it was at 89%. When I checked it after a few hours of sunlight in the morning, it had charged to 91%, which is pretty good considering it uses more power for streaming live video, one of my favorite features. The app itself is a little outdated, but I also didn't pay for upgraded features. If I want to save a picture, I just screenshot it. Without the app, you cannot save video, but that's fine by me. The only other hiccup we had with it is some leaking from one of the corners. That subsided as the nectar equalized in temperature, but never really stopped. Most of my other feeders do that periodically, too.

This is a follow up from original review. I love the whole idea of getting awesome bird photos and mainly feeding the little things. At first I did see a small amount of leakage at the bottom but it was minimal, However it was empty after serval days and there is a hole in the ground below from the drippage. I refilled it today and it leaks much more heavily. I may not be able to use this feeder any longer, and it’s only been one week since I received it. I saw a hummingbird trying to drink from the side of feeder, and realized that’s one of the leaky areas! Sadly- I believe I must discontinue its use!

I absolutely love this hummingbird feeder with a built-in camera! It was incredibly easy to assemble and looks beautiful hanging in the garden — very sturdy and elegant. The camera captures stunning, high-quality footage of the hummingbirds, which has been such a joy to watch and share with family and friends. The only downside is the battery life — it doesn’t hold a charge for more than a few days, which means I have to recharge it more often than I’d like. If you’re okay with that bit of maintenance, the experience is well worth it. It’s a unique and lovely way to enjoy nature up close.

This is such a great idea! I always love watching the hummingbirds at my feeder. I like that this feeder has a solar component that helps prolong the battery life of the camera. My reason for 3 stars is this: 1) Unless you enroll in their plan at $7 per month, you are limited to just the livefeed. 2) It is leaking. I am going to try to fix it, but it seems as though the plastic seam is not tight in a corner of the feeder. Made a mess on our patio before I realized.

Attractive hummingbird feeder. Easy to assemble. Includes a hook for hanging or a bracket with screws to mount on a wall or fence. East to fill. Loading the app was easy and the app is user friendly. Takes cute photos or videos of the hummingbirds feeding! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the feeder is decently heavy with the camera and battery, especially when filled with nectar. I tried hanging it on a tree branch at first, but it was to heavy, so I had to mount it on a fence post instead.
